At just 24 years old, Ghanaian sensation Black Sherif has etched his name even deeper into music history, becoming the youngest two-time Artiste of the Year winner at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
On Saturday night, the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre erupted as the announcement was made: Blacko had reclaimed the ultimate crown at the 27th edition of TGMA, securing the coveted title for the second time in his career.
Yet, none matched Black Sherif’s youthful dominance. From Konongo-Zongo’s streets to global stages, his artistry rooted in raw storytelling, emotional honesty, and fearless creativity has propelled him into the pantheon of Ghana’s greatest modern icons.
At 24, Black Sherif’s story is only beginning. No artiste has ever won Artiste of the Year three times in TGMA history. With two crowns already secured, Blacko now stands just one victory away from becoming the first-ever triple winner.
His rise is not just about awards it’s about legacy, culture, and the voice of a generation.
